On the "Brazilian UFO Night" of May 19 1986, Brazilian Air Force Mirage and F-5 fighters were scrambled to pursue up to 21 unknown radar targets over southeast Brazil. Brazil's Minister of Aeronautics confirmed the events publicly.
Lubbock Lights
Texas Tech professors and a teenage photographer recorded V-shaped formations of bluish lights over Lubbock in late August 1951. Project Blue Book's Edward Ruppelt eventually concluded the sightings were caused by birds — a conclusion many witnesses rejected.

Broad Haven School Sighting
