BETTY.
“Betty Andreasson’s reported encounter is dated January 25, 1967, in South Ashburnham, Massachusetts.”
The account describes unusual visitors during a disruption at the family home. The detailed narrative became widely known through Raymond E. Fowler’s book The Andreasson Affair, published in 1979.
This is a reported abduction, with an important gap between the incident date and the published investigation. The bibliography compiled by Isaac Koi helps locate different retellings rather than treating every later reference as a new witness.
Much of the detailed story is associated with hypnosis. Our record does not establish that a later recollection independently verifies an earlier event. The useful next step is to compare the earliest written account, full interview recordings, and any separately obtained statements. This source review covers the published account and its bibliography, not an examination of original physical exhibits.
Assessment: Published witness account; physical abduction not independently established in this review.
