In an excerpt attributed to an April 28, 1995 presentation at the Institute of Noetic Sciences, John Mack recounts what children told investigators. The Eyes On Cinema upload was published on August 29, 2023 and runs 8 minutes 48 seconds. Those dates are distinct from the incident date. DisclosureUFO reviewed the entire available excerpt transcript on October 6, 2026; it did not perform a full audiovisual examination or authenticate the original tape.

Around 1:36–1:53 in the excerpt, Mack says the adults were in a meeting and did not observe the initial event. His subsequent descriptions of the headmaster’s and teachers’ reactions are reports of later belief, not additional direct sightings. Mack himself investigated after the event. Neither his professional affiliation nor the adults’ confidence independently verifies objects or beings.

Around 3:22–3:54 Mack describes asking some children about a possible prank. At 4:02–4:42 he distinguishes clinical judgment from physical evidence, emphasizing the interview relationship in his work. His broader references to bodily marks or missing persons should not be imported as findings in this case. From 5:53 onward, discussion about reality, dimensions and hybrids belongs to interpretation rather than an independently demonstrated explanation of Ariel.

Co-investigator Dominique Callimanopulos’s essay, originally published in CenterPiece, Spring/Summer 1995, pages 10–11, describes interviewing twelve children over two days with Mack. It provides a written primary record of the investigation and reported content. It is not independent confirmation of the encounter, because its author participated in the same investigation. Statements about consistency need comparison with the actual interviews, their dates and the questions asked.

The linked parent presentation on the John E. Mack channel identifies student interview clips as omitted at Mack’s request. That limits what can be learned from the public presentation alone. Neither this excerpt nor the essay substantiates sweeping claims that every witness remained consistent, that all drawings were independently produced, or that the children had no prior exposure to UFO stories.

The next research priorities are to locate and date the earliest interviews and drawings, identify who saw what directly, compare accounts before and after shared discussion, and obtain independently sourced contemporary records.
